GEORGIA STATE JUDICIAL SYSTEM
Under the 1983 Constitution of Georgia the judicial power of the State is vested in these classes of courts: magistrate courts, probate courts, juvenile courts, state courts, superior courts, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court.
Administrative Office of the Courts
The AOC staffs the Judicial Council and provides subject-matter expertise on policy, legislation, and court administration to all of Georgia's courts.
The Supreme Court of Georgia is the highest court in the state.
The Court of Appeals of Georgia
The Georgia Court of Appeals is the intermediate appellate court in Georgia.
